Hazard assessments are the linchpins of health and safety at work. Senior management carries the responsibility for their correct execution according to the labour protection law (§§ 5,6 Arbeitsschutzgesetz). Various ordinances and technical regulations substantiate the corresponding requirements (plant safety, BetrSichV, hazardous substances GefStoffV, biological substances BioStoffV, noise vibrations ArbSchV, technical regulations for operating safety TRBS 1111 or TRGS 400 etc.).
