Organisational information for seminars and events

Registration

The number of participants for the seminars / events is limited. Registrations must be made via the UMCO Academy website or in writing by email or letter. They will be considered in the order in which they are received and confirmed by UMCO GmbH (in short: UMCO) in writing by email. By submitting a binding registration via the registration form on the internet or by other written registration by email, letter or fax, the client recognises these conditions of participation and UMCO's General Terms and Conditions. If a seminar, webinar or event takes place with a co-operation partner for which registration is made via the partner, the partner's terms and conditions of participation apply.

Services

The participation fee includes seminar documents, drinks during breaks and, if applicable, snacks or lunch. Costs for accommodation and travelling expenses are not included.

Content

The content of the respective seminars, webinars or events can be found in the corresponding descriptions.

Venue

The seminars or events take place in the training facilities of UMCO, Georg-Wilhelm-Straße 187, 21107 Hamburg. Other venues are possible and can be found in the corresponding seminar descriptions.

Rescission

Cancellation of a seminar, webinar or event registration must always be made in writing. Cancellations up to four weeks before the start of the seminar, webinar or event are free of charge. In the event of cancellation between two and four weeks before the start of the seminar, webinar or event, a cancellation fee of 50% of the order value will be charged. In the event of cancellation from two weeks before the start of the seminar, webinar or event, the full order value will be charged. Alternatively, substitute participants can be sent to the booked event.

Changes

We reserve the right to appoint a substitute speaker for organisational reasons or in the event of illness of the speaker, to change the content of the seminar and to change or cancel dates and locations. If participation fees have already been paid, these will be refunded; further claims are excluded.

Invoicing

The invoice will be issued and sent after the seminar. Payment must be received no later than 14 days after the invoice date without discount. All prices are subject to VAT at the rate applicable at the time of invoicing. Partial participation in the event does not entitle the participant to a reduction in fees.

Liability

UMCO points out that the event contributions are general statements that can only be applied to specific individual cases after consultation with UMCO.

Certificate of training

Proof of participation in a paid seminar, webinar or event is provided in the form of a written certificate of attendance, which we issue or send to the participants after the seminar, webinar or event.
