The UMCO helpline is the next evolutionary step in our service concept for you. It is designed to provide quick answers to dangerous goods questions, to help with complex environmental protection and occupational safety issues and to provide support in dealing with authorities and legal regulations. The UMCO helpline team asks the right questions, categorises them, and either answers the questions themselves or submits them in the proper format to participating technical departments.
When a customer approaches us with a specific problem, it often soon emerges that a completely different issue is at stake and that the solution requires a totally different approach.
Our employees use their expertise, organisational talent and communication skills to ensure that they are reachable, that they keep customers up to date on developments and that problems are resolved promptly where the matter has not already been clarified directly via the helpline.
Issues surrounding dangerous goods generally require quick decisions: our helpline team respond quickly and can be reached direct and without fuss.
The idea behind our helpline is not new, because expert advice and support have a long tradition at UMCO – going back 36 years. As in the past, we take a multidisciplinary approach to the resolution of complex issues by involving colleagues from other departments so as to benefit from their specialist input.
Our helpline team is available from 8.00 to 18.00, Monday to Friday.
